Is it necessary to list your High School on a Resume if that is the highest level of education? |
I have several years of experience in Administrative services and Project management but no College experience. I have not submitted a resume in over 10 years so I was wondering if companies today were only interested in seeing your level of higher learning or just omit the Education section from the resume? You have 10 years of experience to list on the resume. Therefore your education is now the LEAST important qualification you have. It would be the last thing you would list on the resume, and if you want to put Education: High School Graduate you can. No, you shouldn't list your HS Diploma unless you are applying to a federal position. Omit it and focus on your relevant experience. Education- HS Diploma. will do just fine. you can look at it two ways. 1 - you dont want them to think you didnt finish high school. or 2 - they want to know how old you are by seeing what year you graduated in... since legally they cant ask you your age... If you are qualified for the position i would leave it out and let them ask you... Yes. Otherwise, it will look like you don't even have a HS Diploma. umm u sorta gonna have 2 sooner or later tell them u didnt go to college....cuz on the interview i am almost certain they will ask u |
