Can you copy and paste a resume from ms office to ms word and maintain the format of the document? |
I submitted a resume on line in ms office word. I received a request to resubmit my resume in word format. Just to clarify, if you are using the newest Office 2007 products, they have a different file format that older versions of Word. So if your document is in a .docx format, save a new copy of your Word 2007 document as an older version of Word. This can be done by going to the Save As and scrolling to the bottom. There is a down arrow that will allow you to display a drop list where you can select an older standard. MS word is part of MS office. You should copy and then go to the Edit menu and "paste special" and it will keep everything the same, penidng you have the same "page setup". |
